Reflection
I mirror your movement,
I pretend your hands are mine,
And that it is you touching my face,
That i am touching yours,
I reach out to touch you,
But i feel hard glass,
So i hold myself tight,
And watch your sad eyes,
Stare back at me,
Longing me more,
I can almost smell your perfume,
It is like you,
Light, beautiful and full of joy,
Except when you turn your head,
And i can't see you anymore,
I now grow angry when i see you,
Why is love so unbearable?
Your mouth screams as i shout,
Sobbing as i sob,
Shattering as i shatter,
So all that is left of me and you,
Is a pool of glass.
I mirror your movement,
I pretend your hands are mine,
And that it is you touching my face,
That i am touching yours,
I reach out to touch you,
But i feel hard glass,
So i hold myself tight,
And watch your sad eyes,
Stare back at me,
Longing me more,
I can almost smell your perfume,
It is like you,
Light, beautiful and full of joy,
Except when you turn your head,
And i can't see you anymore,
I now grow angry when i see you,
Why is love so unbearable?
Your mouth screams as i shout,
Sobbing as i sob,
Shattering as i shatter,
So all that is left of me and you,
Is a pool of glass.
